The UK Government’s Business Taskforce on Sustainable Consumption and Production has produced reports and recommendations from its two workstreams on DECENTRALISED ENERGY and MOBILITY 2020.
DECENTRALISED ENERGY
Building markets for technology and services around the roll-out of a decentralised energy system in the UK which contributes to achieving higher levels of resource efficiency and better waste management while improving energy security and cutting carbon emissions.

MOBILITY 2020
Creating space for a new market in the next 5-10 years that will provide consumers and business users with low-carbon mobility products and services and accelerate the pull-through of the technologies and infrastructure needed to transform mobility in the decades beyond.

BCSD-UK has been contracted to stage half day consultative workshops to promote the reports from the Taskforce and to gain a reaction from the business community.
