Formed in 1999, originally as the Business Council for Sustainable Development – North Sea Region, we are a not-for-profit, limited liability company.  BCSD-UK is the only affiliated branch in the UK of the Geneva based World Business Council for Sustainable Development. BCSD-UK is a member of the European Partners Network of the WBCSD. BCSD-UK is managed under contract by Environmental Business Communications Limited (EBC) which is responsible for the day to day running of the BCSD-UK, its programme of activity and its development.

The Management Committee is the Board of Directors of the not-for-profit, limited liability company and all are registered at Companies House.
